PASPPORT & PREEMIES

1:Passport with minimum 6-months validity left, VERY IMPORTANT!!( visible photos 3×4 )
2:Good backpack (good quality)
3:Good travel insurance(Most policies cover Laos)
4:A second photo ID other than your passport
5:Driving license if you wish to go on the road or rent a bike or car
6:Important scans and documents on hardcopy and on drop box or google drive etc
7:Blood donor/type card in case of ….
8:Prescriptions for any medication you require. Be assured that most Lao chemists will sell medicine with out a script, but if you are search by immigration it’s good to be able to show you need the medicine you carry.
9:Credit cards, not all in the same bag please, and not all of them in your day-to-day wallet
10:Light sleeping bag or blanket for cleanliness if you hang out at backpacker places, others than that – only for trip around October till February
11:Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat, mosquito spray and sunscreen
12:Small towel and swimming suit, maybe a light outdoor towel- the waterfalls are inviting!

13:Good walking shoes and trekking sandals for activities and flip flops
14:First aid kit for outdoor activities if you plan such as activities (We take first aid kits on our tour)
15:Earplugs for sleeping and boat trip!
16:Padlock to prevent unwanted searching of your bags
17:An easy-to-wash set of long and short cloths for outdoor us and string or hooks
18:Rain protection as our tours are rain or shine (especially June till October)
19:Basic toiletries and toilet paper, although these can easily be purchased at local stores or supermarkets
20:Game and a good book for on the bus or quite night
21:Small night, binoculars, head torch/flashlight and extra batteries
22:Chargers and power bank (Some villages have no power)
23:Candles and lighter make sense, but not in hand luggage
24:Hygiene kit with soap, tissues, toothbrush, tampons….
25:School supplies, pens, notebooks, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to donate to local villages with your guide. These can be bought in and your guide will give to school or village.
26:A small gratitude and donation to your guide goes along way supporting their family and community.
